Spirit of Propriety and Righteousness
Propriety refers to one's orderly attitudes and righteousness refers to one's responsible duty to the state.

The spirit of propriety and righteousness refers to order awareness, which calls for appropriate principles to be followed and for modest behavior to be practiced. Propriety and righteousness are the ethics of the family and state, respectively.
In other words, propriety and righteousness refer to the principles expected of human beings and order awareness.
Such awareness comes from the regulations that bindthe thoughts and activities of the respective persons and is called ethics or morals.
These rules, when they have an objective binding nature, are called laws and regulations. Each human being has his or her own personality but can not live without relationships with others. Where people with different personalities live together, a sense of community awareness where they help each other is needed..
Currently, however, with western culture being introduced into Our country without it being filtered, our unique traditional culture and sense of values is slipping away. Even the principles that should be followed are often forgotten, which contributes to larger social ills.
Since our ancestors valued propriety and righteousness and followed the principles they were taught,
our country once was called the country of courteous people in the East.
We should inherit the spirit of propriety and righteousness, create a sense of community awareness, and observe public morals and various systems so that many people may live together peacefully. We should also realize that this is the shortcut to promoting the happiness of human beings.
